Mesada

In short: Mesada is an app for your family to organize your children's allowance. It is not a bank and it moves no money. An adult creates the family and answers for it. Mesada Plus is a subscription bought and cancelled through Apple, with a 7-day free trial. Using the app means accepting these terms.
1. Acceptance
These terms are an agreement between you and Artifaze (Guatemala). By downloading or using Mesada you accept them. If you do not agree, do not use the app. Our Privacy Policy applies together with these terms.
2. What Mesada is and is not
Mesada lets a family create missions for their children, record rewards, keep balances, set savings goals and see money habits. The amounts shown in the app are a record of agreements your family makes at home; real money is handed over in cash, outside the app.
Mesada is not a bank, a wallet or a financial service. It holds and moves no money, issues no cards, extends no credit and gives no financial advice. What it teaches is habits, within whatever each family decides.
3. Who may use it
The family is created and managed by an adult (18 or older), who is responsible for everything recorded in it and for the children taking part. Minors use Mesada under that adult's supervision, with the code and key the adult hands them. By creating a family you declare that you are of legal age and have authority over the minors you add.
4. Your family, your codes and your PIN
The family code and each child's key allow joining your family from other devices. The PIN protects the adult area on the phone. Keeping them safe is your responsibility: do not share them outside your home. If you believe someone outside has access, change the keys from Settings or write to us.
5. Mesada Plus
The app can be used for free. Mesada Plus is a subscription that unlocks additional features, such as unlimited missions, the full Path, evidence photos and habit insights.
- It is offered monthly or yearly, at the price the app shows in your local currency at the time of purchase.
- It includes a 7-day free trial, once per Apple account. When the trial ends, the chosen plan is charged unless you cancel at least 24 hours before.
- It renews automatically for the same period, charged to your Apple account, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends.
- Purchase, cancellation and refunds are handled by Apple. You can cancel any time from Settings › your name › Subscriptions on your iPhone. After cancelling, Plus stays active until the end of the period already paid.
- We may change the price with prior notice; Apple will ask you to accept the new price before charging it.
- The subscription can be shared with your Apple Family Sharing group.
6. Acceptable use
Use Mesada only for what it was made for: your family's allowance. Do not try to access other families, interfere with the service, or copy, decompile or resell the app. Do not record unlawful content or content that harms others.
7. What your family records
The names, missions, evidence photos and everything your family records is yours. You give us permission only to store it and show it to the members of your family, which is what the app needs to work. You are responsible for what you record being lawful and for having the necessary authority over the minors.
8. Intellectual property
Mesada, its name, its design, its mascot Gani, its worlds and its texts belong to Artifaze. We grant you a personal, limited, revocable license to use the app on your devices. You acquire no other rights.
9. Changes and availability
We improve Mesada often: we may add, change or remove features. We do our best to keep the app available at all times, but we do not guarantee it will be free of interruptions.
10. Termination
You may stop using Mesada whenever you want and delete your family from Settings. We may suspend or close families that breach these terms or put other users or the service at risk.
11. Warranties and liability
Mesada is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we make no guarantees about educational results or about the money agreements your family records, and we are not liable for indirect losses. Agreements between members of your family belong to your family; Mesada only writes them down. Nothing in these terms limits the rights the law grants you as a consumer.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Guatemala. If you have a problem, write to us first: almost everything gets solved by talking.
